Kwik Star Fundraiser is now underway. Students will be selling Kwik Star cards from Aug 23-Aug 29. Please support our students in this fundraiser because the profit is used for student activities such as field trips and our PBIS program. New Hampton Middle School has adopted PBIS - Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Students have went through the building with staff and learned the expectations in the different settings. You may hear your student talking about minors or TRIBE tickets. Students receive minors for infractions in the different settings and then attend reteaching at the end of the day to review the expected behavior. At the end of each quarter, students will be able to participate in the quarter activity if they have less than 8 minors. Students also receive TRIBE tickets as they are acknowledged for making positive choices and going above and beyond. Students can turn these TRIBE tickets into the office to be part of the weekly PBIS drawing. Students can also collect three TRIBE tickets to turn into their homeroom teacher to take off one minor at a time. Below are the TRIBE expectations for our students:
